Old West Hunting is a family owned and operated hunting service.  Ted and Patty Myers live and operate a working ranch year-round on the hunting property.  They also own a small excavation business that does custom work for the surrounding community from the ranch headquarters.

Ted and Patty are third-generation family owners of the ranch property which has been their home for the past forty plus years.  The 2,300-acre property is located in the Williams Fork River Valley north of the Dunkley and Beaver Flat Tops, and approximately 35 miles southwest of Craig and approximately 18 miles south of Hayden.  The ranch, which is located in Colorado Game Management Units 12 and 231, supports numerous resident elk and migratory elk that are part of the greater White River Elk Heard which is the largest in North America.  The habitat and terrain of the ranch ranges from bottom meadows along the river to steep upland hillsides with dense aspen and pine pockets with scrub oak brush hillsides and sage parks in between.
